CAMP CHAPLAIN Article 7 - Section # 7 of the Camp's constitution
outlines the duties of the chaplain, please read it once again: Can the number seven (7) be a co-incidence here? Probably not as it is God's perfect number! Interesting is it not? Now, to all the Dillard-Judd Camp members. Please help me carry out the duties of this office which can only be handled if each of you report illness, death or any other need that may arise that I may assist you in. If any member knows of such an occurrence or a need of a fellow camp member, please call or e-mail me as below. I am at your service. Your Obedient Servant ~ The Dillard-Judd Camp has contributed funds to provide assistance to families of emergency relief personnel killed or disabled in connection with the terrorist attacks of Sept.11, 2001. "The Dillard-Judd Camp 1828 of Cookeville, Tennessee is proud to honor the men and women who gave their all in the rescue efforts following the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11," said Ed Butler, Commander of the Cookeville camp. "Sadly, many of these true American heroes paid the ultimate sacrifice, as our Confederate ancestors did also. We hope this small contribution will be a lasting tribute to them and a testimony to the spirit and resolve of our great country." |
