~~ MONUMENT DESIGN CHOSEN ~~ At the September meeting the camp viewed the design that was chosen by the monument committee. A vote was taken and approved by the majority present. A word of thanks to the Monument Committee for their tireless efforts in weeding through the designs submitted. While there were several designs that were given consideration, the design submitted by Ed Butler was given the nod. The committee is now working on the wording and design for the etching(s) and engravings to fit the design. If you have ideas, please, please, please get these to the committee. These words must show honor to our ancestors and stand the test of time. The camp is also working on a brochure that will be used to solicit the funding necessary to erect the monument. * * * * Historical Marker Chairman Named Camp member Bill Heard has been tapped for the position of Aide-de-Camp for Historical Roadside Markers.
