An un~dated photograph of John Byars Thomas, born August 10, 1837 and died November 11, 1907.  Mr. Thomas, who married Sara Ann Lummus on January 10, 1864, lost his left arm at the Battle of Sharpsburg (Antietam), Maryland, September 17, 1862.
