On Saturday September
10th, the Captain E.D. Baxter Sons of Confederate veterans Camp 2034 participated
in the 2005 Fairview Naturefest. Members Dennis Lampley, Larry Stinson
and Bob Bowser maned the camp booth in the Naturefest's History Village.
The booth appealed to young and old with a display and sale of miniballs
from area battles as well as the Camp book, Confederate Soldiers Of
Williamson County, Tn-Final Resting Places . The relics were found
by Camp Commander Dennis Lampley. Dennis anwsered questions and gave historic
information about the battles to many visitors to the booth. Dennis and
Larry also discussed local geneology and history with visitors to the
booth that had ancestors from the Fairview Area.
