Our Camp will meet Thursday, July 10th at 7:15pm (always the 2nd Thursday evening each month unless otherwise advised), at All Saints Southern Episcopal Church in its meeting room with entrance on 46th Avenue, at the corner of 46th and Park Avenues, just a block south of Charlotte Pike in West Nashville. Doors open at 6:00pm, arrive early and enjoy the fine fellowship available at our meetings! The program will precede our business session which follows after a break with refreshments for all.

Our program will be given by Greg Wade. He is a member of the SCV and recently founded the Franklin Civil War Roundtable. He is also president of Save the Franklin Battlefield. His topic will be the Battle of the West Harpeth. On the evening of DEC 17, 1864, Hood's army was escaping from their disaster outside Nashville. After getting south of Franklin the U.S. Army struck them as they were escaping across the West Harpeth River. Perhaps 10,000 troops were involved in the often forgotten fight.
